Artelier Hair brings 'French Chic' to Formby

When you walk into Formby's newest hair salon, Artelier, you immediately notice the completely unique environment that is warm, welcoming and almost homely. The salon has an urban feel with an industrial edge having used reclaimed materials and furniture that tells a story.

Co-Owners, Emma Taylor and Andrew Deaconos have fulfilled a long-time dream to open their own salon and between them, have over 20 years of experience and have been trained by some of the biggest names in the industry.

Emma said: "Artelier is a true reflection of us as people and our clients will be able to see our personalities in every little detail, not just our work! They can come to the salon and enjoy a glass of prosecco or a G&T whilst relaxing on our state-of-the-art backwash chairs."

We also now offer L'Oreal Smartbond, a product used for extra protection while colouring your hair, makes hair softer, stronger and shinier. We are the only salon in Formby to offer Great Lengths hair extensions."

Situated on a lovely row of shops on Duke St, Formby, Artelier is perfectly positioned if you are travelling by train or by car and is only a short walk from our beautiful village.

Emma went on to say: "Artelier is a play on the word ‘Atelier’ – a French word for ‘workshop’ or ‘studio’; in English it is used primarily for the private workshop or studio of a professional artist in the fine or decorative arts, where a principal master and a number of assistants and apprentices can work together to produce fine or visual art."
