New Reading Group at Formby Library

We have a new type of reading group starting up. The sessions are run by The Reader organisation and its aim is to bring people together through a shared reading experience.

The sessions will run once a week at Formby Library from 12:30 to 2pm starting on Friday 26th August.

Attendees can have a cup of tea and a biscuit and listen to poems and short stories read aloud, with the chance to discuss what they’ve listened to with the rest of the group.

However there is no pressure on anyone to read or even talk – just listen and enjoy if that’s what they want to do.
