Pavement collapses on Freshfield Road
The pavement is collapsing on Freshfield Road, on the opposite side to the entrance to Old Town Lane and just before the entrance to The Copse.
The hole is that deep that you can see the drains below.
Concerns have been voiced that the surrounding area might also give way at any time, so please be careful when walking in this area.
The sink hole has been reported to Sefton Council, however it could take several hours for them to begin the repairs.
