Formby Pool renews their lease for another ten years
Formby residents will be pleased to know that our fantastic Formby Pool remains safe as Sefton Council and the Formby Land Trust agreed to renew the lease on the site for another ten years.
Following negotiations with both Formby Land Trust and Sefton Council. Formby Pool Trust is pleased to confirm that they have been awarded a further 10 year lease to continue to run leisure services for the community of Formby.
Dr Dympna Edwards, Chair of Formby Pool Trust said "The ten year lease has come about is is very good news. It means that the people of Formby continue to have access to excellent leisure facilities, it safeguards the jobs for the staff who serve in the pool and provides gives a stable foundation for further development. The ten year lease has come about through good partnership work with colleagues in Sefton council and Formby Land Trust. I would like to take the opportunity to thank staff, trustees and partners for their hard work and dedication to the support of our loyal customers."
