Thank you to all volunteers who joined in the Beachwatch clean on Monday
Andy Laverick, our local Marine Conservation Society Sea Champion, has asked us to pass on his appreciation for all the volunteers who turned up to Freshfield beach on Monday to help with the Beachwatch beach clean
He is very pleased with the results from the event ; 50 kg collected in about 90 minutes by 12 volunteers. 50 kg included 344 separate items of plastic.
There is another Beachwatch event coming up on Monday 27th of June from 10.00 am. It will be at Freshfield beach again (on the national trust property).
He would like to invite you and any of your colleagues, friends and family to go along and join in.
