Formby Library Talk on April 14th.
The next monthly talk at Formby Library will be on Tuesday, April 14 when author David Fawkes will discuss "the birth of a novel".
David will talk about how he came to write his novel "Cloth Elephant" and about the process of getting it published.
David is an expert on modern German history and he will be bringing along some interesting items to illustrate his talk, including a catalogue of Christmas Cards from 1940 and a series of cards received by his mother from her father while he was serving on the Western Front during WW1.
