You can see how it was for the soldiers in the ‘life in the trenches’ display which will be a bell-tented encampment with weapons, equipment and accessories. You and the family can test your agility on the climbing walls and assault courses on the ground. Or you can experience the next best thing to flying a fast jet in one of the flight simulators. Then the flying begins... Your heart will swell with pride as the Red Arrows fly overhead; trailing red, white and blue smoke. You will feel the Typhoon Fighter Jet before you actually see it as the engines roar thuds in your ears and the jet zooms past. You can see in action the living and breathing tribute to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in WW2 when the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight flies in formation. You will also witness the last two airworthy Lancaster bombers flying together as the Canadian Lancaster joins the flight in a meeting unlikely to ever happen again. History will be brought to life when the Great War Team take to the skies in a multiple aircraft dog fight bringing WW1 to life with beach explosions and soldiers battling it out on the ground. All of this along with a lot more aircraft and activities in the Air Show Village can be enjoyed for the entire day for only £7.32 per person (including all fees), plus if you are bringing little ones along under 5's are free, making this day out with the family even more affordable.
