The Boardwalk at Lifeboat Road will be closed from Monday 6th September

Lifeboat Road boardwalk closure ⚠️

From Monday 6 September the boardwalk at Lifeboat Road will be closed so that we can carry out essential repairs to the fence.

The team need to take a closer look before confirming what materials are needed and how long the repairs will take. We know how important this access route is to the beach and will keep you updated as work progresses.

Alternative accessible routes to the #SeftonCoast can be found at both Ainsdale and Southport where cars can be parked on the beach up until 30th September find out more here: https://bit.ly/3DJxUkS.

Don’t forget to check tide times before you visit as high tides can reduce the size of these car parks or at times mean they are closed temporarily. Sefton Council share regular updates on their social media.
