Motorcyclist Fighting for His Life After Serious Crash Near Ince Woods

A man is in a critical condition following a serious collision near Ince Woods that brought traffic to a standstill and completely closed off the area.
Emergency services were called to Scaffold Lane, Ince Blundell, at around 7:40am on Friday, 11th July, after a report of a motorbike crash. The rider, a man whose identity has not yet been released, was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Merseyside Police have since confirmed that, as of Tuesday 15th July, the man remains in a critical condition.
The road was completely shut between Long Lane and Lady Green Lane, with a significant emergency service presence. Drivers were urged to avoid the area as multiple police units and ambulances responded and a large cordon was put in place.
The incident caused major disruption throughout the morning, and the crash site remained sealed off for several hours as officers carried out their investigations.
