Kirklake Road in Formby is closed with Access Only For a few days

Kirklake Road in Formby is closed with Access Only from the corner of Ward Avenue going towards the beach.

It is expected to be closed for the weekend. United Utilities have closed the road as part of a mains drain investigation which will probably take a few days.

Works on the road have been ongoing for the last week whilst they have been unblocking the drains.

Diversions are in place.
