Formby Junior Sports Club’s 67th season commences on Saturday 5th September with its first Inter Club session.
FJSC already has over two hundred and fifty members and many more are expected to join over the next few days and weeks. In addition to the Inter Club Section, which is open from aged four year olds, up to and including boys in the under fourteen age group. There will also be twenty-six teams representing FJSC in local leagues.
The club welcomes some new Representative team managers and assistant managers and over fifty new members so far. FJSC has four new teams as well -FJSC Under 6 White, FJSC Under 8 Black, FJSC Under 9 Black and FJSC Under 13 Green. Therewill, also, be another Under 6 team, formed fairly soon and we also plan to have an Under 5 team playing representative matches.
REPRESENTATIVE TEAM NEWS
On Sunday 6th September FJSC’s Under 13 White, Under 14 White, Under 15 Black and the Under 16 Black teams will be playing in the West Lancashire Junior Football League when they begin their league season. FJSC Under 14 Black team’s first match will be the following Sunday.
The fourteen FJSC teams competing in the Craven Minor League are to start their fixtures the following weekend of the 12th and 13th September.
FJSC Under 15 Blacks Saturday team are due to play their first ever Liverpool Premier League match on Saturday 12th September.
News will soon be announced for the start of the Hightown Junior League.
FJSC Under 6 teams will start their Sunday morning matches in the Sefton and Knowsley Development League shortly.
With no league fixtures, some Representative teams may arrange friendly matches at home next weekend,on their scheduled pitches and playing at their set kick off times.

9.30am – 10.40am - YEAR 7, YEAR 8 and YEAR 9
10.00am – 11.10am –RECEPTION and YEAR 1
10.00am -11.10am - YEAR 2
10.45am – 12.00 YEAR 4
10.45am – 12.00. YEAR 5 and YEAR 6
NEW MEMBERS ARE VERY WELCOME IN ALL INTER CLUB AGE GROUPS REGARDLESS OF ABILITY. IF YOU ARE NOT SURE JUST COME ALONG AD GIVE FOOTBALL A GO.
All group sessions will comprise of coaching followed by a fun match. There is a £3 charge each Saturday for coaching.
Please arrive ten minutes before start time and give your name in for the register.
