Formby Festival Tickets are now on sale but numbers limited - First come first served basis
The Formby Festival Tickets went on sale at 9.00am this morning and due to the covid restrictions in place they are limited to the numbers allowed. The popular event will take place on Friday 16th July, Saturday 17th July and Sunday 18th July at Duke Street Park in Formby.
Organiser Maria Bennett said: “Tickets are going like hot cakes at the moment but we are limited to 2000 bodies per day and that includes children and babies, every human has to be counted. We will not know until 21st June if we are able to add more tickets or be able to buy on the gate so obviously once the tickets have gone they have gone for now until we see what happens on the 21st June.”
“Currently there are no plans to have a ticket office on site for pay at the gate although this might change. Restrictions only allow us to sell on line so that we are able to manage the numbers and not go over them. Obviously once they are gone we will not be putting any more up for sale and we will have to wait until 21st June to see if we are able to issue more or have a ticket office.”
“Anyone purchasing tickets can be assured that if we have to cancel the event they will get a full refund or transfer to next year.”
“Whilst it is an open air event we have looked at the weather and if it rains there will be a covered area for the silent disco so no need to get wet.”
“We are currently planning the event and adding things that maybe different and this year on the Saturday and Sunday we will have a petting zoo. Other events are being added daily.”
“Anyone buying tickets should note that there is an option to purchase insurance for themselves if they can't go due to having to isolate which will give them a full refund. We can only refund tickets if we cancel the event due to covid.”
