Original story:
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service attended a fire in Formby at approximately 2am this morning.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown, and at this stage no further details have been released. However, photographs taken in daylight show extensive damage to an outdoor structure and fencing, with much of the fire damage appearing to be concentrated outside the property.
Thankfully, there have been no reports of any injuries, and it is hoped that everyone inside the house was safe and that damage within the property itself was limited.
Firefighters were on scene during the early hours tackling the blaze and preventing it from spreading further.
We have contacted Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service for further information and will provide an update if and when more details become available.
