Dear Formby Bubble: Much loved Formby lady Florence Higenbottam (Floss) has passed away
Dear Formby Bubble:
It's with great sadness to say that Florence Higenbottam (Floss) passed away suddenly but peacefully at home on Tuesday 25th January 2022.
Floss was a well known face around the village having run Backhouses of Formby shoe & bag shop for over 30years.
Her funeral will be held at Our Ladys of Compassion Church on Monday 7th February at 12.30pm. The family have said that all are most welcome to come and join them to help celebrate Floss’ life.
Funeral directors are Dean Brothers Formby.
Floss loved animals so a collection in her name will be at the church or the link below if you'd like to donate.
