BREAKING: Large emergency services presence at Redgate And Air Ambulance on scene

There is currently a significant police presence on Redgate in Formby, with multiple police vehicles and a police van at the scene.

An air ambulance has also landed on land behind Redgate School.

A bystander said she saw a woman walking to the air ambulance, which is hopefully a positive sign regarding her condition.

At this stage, we do not know what has happened or whether the police presence and the air ambulance response are connected, so we do not want to speculate.
