Big Changes at Suay in Formby as New Owners Unveil a Fresh New Chapter

The whispers are true — Suay in Formby is now under new ownership, and the transformation is already turning heads. Since July, the new owners Louise, Abbey, Chris and Pat have been busy behind the scenes, reshaping the restaurant into a warm, welcoming space designed for every guest who walks through the door.

One of their proudest announcements is the introduction of an incredibly talented team, including two Supervisors and two Head Chefs, who help keep Suay running smoothly every single day. Their focus has been on creating a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, supported by a team trained to offer genuine care and attention from the moment customers arrive.

The restaurant has also been given a stunning visual makeover. Suay now features a beautiful flower tree installation in the booth area, along with thoughtful improvements throughout the interior. Outside, visitors will notice a brand-new sign and menu display, all part of the effort to give Suay an elegant, refreshed look. New uniforms for the chefs and front-of-house team are also on the way, completing the stylish update.

In the kitchen, Suay has continued to evolve and expand its offering. Over the past few months, the team has:
