Christmas has arrived early at Emily’s on Brows Lane, and it’s nothing short of spectacular.
This much-loved Formby restaurant and bar has been transformed into a breathtaking winter wonderland, inspired by the charm and cosiness of the French Alps. Its stunning new look features snow-covered Christmas trees, twinkling lights, rustic wooden touches and even a welcoming firepit — creating the perfect festive escape right here in the heart of our village.

Working alongside Ruvi Design and Installations, the Emily’s team spent two full days creating this year’s dazzling festive display, and locals are already stopping to admire it. Since opening in 2022, Emily’s has become famous for its beautiful seasonal makeovers — and this might just be their best yet.
This year’s theme, Le Chalet d’Emily’s, replaces the vibrant autumn display of pumpkins, umbrellas and wellies that brightened up the street just a few weeks ago. Now, it’s all about glistening snow, Alpine charm and Christmas cheer — and it’s already being described as “amazing,” “spectacular,” and “a showstopper.”

The restaurant has also launched its new winter menu, filled with delicious comfort food and festive flavours. Highlights include Roast Vine Tomato Soup with Mozzarella and Pesto, Chicken Parmigiana Hoagie Rolls, hearty Club Sandwiches, and warming mains such as Beef Short Rib Lasagne, Emily’s Shepherd’s Pie and Red Pepper Gnocchi.
If you’re looking for somewhere truly magical to get into the festive spirit, Emily’s in Formby is the place to be this Christmas.
