FJSC GIRLS’ REPRESENTATIVE TEAM MATCH On Sunday a FJSC Under 18 Girls’ team played Churchtown. It was a wonderful match played in warm conditions. FJSC went 3 nil up in the first half. Aimee Hollis scored direct from a free kick in the first minute and then Ana Waite scored twice before the interval, running through to score on each occasion. With no substitutes to bring on FJSC tired in the second half and Churchtown came back with three goals including two late strikes to draw the match 3-3. The game was played in the right spirit and all the girls enjoyed it. They gave everything. Jess Plows, Katie Leech and Lily Hall had good matches for FJSC in a very impressive team display by all eleven girls. It was the first 11a-side game that six of the girls had ever played.
