Formby Rotary Carol Wagon has another successful year

Father Christmas had a busy time round Formby in the lead up to Christmas.

He made his first appearance at the Village Lights Turn on at the end of November and his last outside Tesco on the Sunday before Christmas. In between he had been doing his annual tours of Formby, meeting lots of children and their families.

The Club would like to thank everyone for supporting their main annual fundraising event. Once again the Club have been amazed by people's generosity. Funds raised will go to local charities and good causes. Father Christmas attended St John Stone Church in Ainsdale where he met the Mayor of Sefton, June Burns. As you can see from the picture she entered into the spirit of Christmas by wearing a red outfit and Santa hat!

Father Christmas also popped into Redgate School's Christmas Fair where he met some of the pupils and made a note of their Christmas presents lists.
