Formby Manor in the pink with £700 charity fundraiser

Employees and residents at the recently opened Formby Manor care centre on Liverpool Road in Formby have raised more than £760 for breast cancer with a special Wear it Pink Day.

The celebratory event saw families and friends of residents dress in pink and come to the home for a special day of fundraising fun with their loved ones that included dressing up, singers, a quiz, raffle and afternoon tea with an assortment of pink cakes and sweets.
