Woodlands Hospice Light up the Night Walk - Saturday 12th October 2019

Back through popular Demand! The walk begins at Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre, heading along the coastline before taking you around the leafy streets of Crosby and Waterloo. Registration is from 5pm. Warm up at 5.45pm followed by the walk at 6pm. This year’s event will be a family (and doggy!!) friendly 5K walk. Children under 16 must be accompanied by adults. The walk is suitable for pushchairs. Dogs must be on a lead at all times. (No dogs that fall under the Dangerous Dog Act). Please note only guide dogs are allowed inside the Adventure Centre.

We encourage you to dress up as brightly as possible and there will be a prize for the brightest dressed! Every participant gets a free Light up the Night t-shirt to wear for the walk and accessories will be available to buy on the night so remember to bring cash. Please wear suitable footwear.

The walk finishes back at the Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre, where there will be food and refreshments waiting for you, alongside a medal and a big thank you from us all!

Am I expected to raise money?

Fundraising is essential to keep Woodlands Hospice services running. To continue to provide our services free of charge we need to raise more than £4,000 every day and we can only do this with your help. So join us and become part of 'Team Woodlands' to help us raise as much money as possible to continue to deliver our services to those who need us the most.
