The Kitchen in Formby features in national newspaper and Formby beach is named as one of the best

The Kitchen is an award winning cafe in the heart of the village, certificate of Excellence 2015-2017 winner.

The Kitchen is an independently ran business, one in the heart of Formby Village and one at the Formby Golf Centre. They pride themselves on serving excellent quality produce sourced locally and hearty homemade lunches, cakes and other baked snacks.

The Times featured a list of the UK's best beaches with our very own being in the top 50 and they gave a little mention to The Kitchen in the heart of our village

The Times wrote: Though best known for famous links courses such as Royal Birkdale, the “Golf Coast” north of Liverpool also does stellar shores. Backed by dunes and pine woodlands where red squirrels scamper about, Formby’s shore is broad and bonny. It’s also blowy, making kite-flying an option, while there are views of north Wales, and occasionally visible 5,000-year-old footprints to look for. A little way inland is the pleasant town of Formby, home to the Kitchen (4 Chapel Alley) and its homemade quiches.
