Formby business man pledges support for Rainbow House Paradise Ball at Formby Golf Club

A Formby business man has pledged support for Rainbow House, the Mawdesley based charity which provides life-changing therapies for children and young adults with physical and neurological disabilities.

Luke Martin, Managing Director of Total Facility Solutions Ltd., will provide financial support for the Rainbow House Paradise Ball which will take place in the Ambassador Suite at Formby Hall Golf Resort and Spa on 21 st September 2019 and raises much needed funds for the charity.

The annual event is organised by Lisa and Paul Maddison, whose daughter Katie has attended conductive education at Rainbow House since she was a baby. Katie was born with an undiagnosed global brain disorder which results in severe and multiple disabilities. Rainbow House has provided Katie and many others with the skills and confidence to achieve goals no one would ever have thought possible.

TFS Group, founded by Luke Martin from Green Lane, Formby, is one of the UK’s largest independent facilities management providers, operating in all major cities and specialising in commercial cleaning, security and washroom solutions across the full spectrum of industries.

Luke, 35, said, “An integral part of our success story is measured by our ability to continue to support charities across the region. Rainbow House is an amazing charity that receives no government funding, and is solely reliant on self-funding in order to continue the wonderful support they provide to children and young adults with complex disabilities. As a father of 4 children and an avid family man, it was paramount to me that we help the Rainbow House continue its amazing work. We are delighted and proud to provide corporate support.”

Luke recently visited Rainbow House to see Katie and the work that they do – see picture attached. There are a few tables left for this year’s event which will be hosted by John Nelson and the tickets are £45 each which includes a welcome drink, four course meal and music from The Wickermen.

A group of brave male guests will be raising extra funds by performing a dance routine to Copacabana on the night. Anyone who wants to join in a fun packed night with great entertainment and prizes should contact Lisa Maddison on 07962599603.
