SATURDAY 9TH FEBRUARY 2019 – LOCAL WALK

Our local walk this year meets at Formby Railway Station Car Park at 9 a.m. and will be approximately eight miles.

We will then walk to Freshfield Station to the railway crossing at Fishermans Path, turning right and going through the pine woods as far as the Coast Road. At the roundabout, we will turn left towards the holiday centre and go on to Ainsdale Beach. Turning left at Ainsdale Sands, we will go south towards Masasms Slack, following the coastal path to Formby Point. We will then turn left towards Shorrocks Hill, returning to Formby Station where the walk will end.

No need to book a place on this walk, just turn up on the day!
