Your Vehicle On Display

Organisers have issued an invitation for owners to display their cars at an event in Formby on Sunday 5 th August. An element of a family fun day organised by Formby Pool Trust, the display of up to 30 cars will be located in the grounds of Formby Pool on Elbow Lane. There is no charge to display your car. Organisers of the display, Ormskirk and District Motor Club (ODMC), are looking for interesting vehicles of all types ranging from ‘ordinary’ cars belonging to proud owners, to classic cars, exotics, motorsport vehicles, bubble cars and motorcycles – if you have a vehicle that’s interesting and you would like to put it on display, then you will be welcome. But you need to complete a display entry form first. Details of the event and a vehicle entry form are available on the ODMC web site at www.ormskirkanddistrictmotorclub.co.uk ODMC is a brand new club in the process of formation by a group of local enthusiasts with a collective wealth of event organisational experience both competitive events and static display events such as the event at Formby. New founder members get free membership for the first year. A membership form is also on the web site.
