Chaos expected on the roads as Formby Bridge due to close tomorrow for 3 weeks

Formby Bridge will be closed tomorrow, Monday 4th June for three weeks for road works. The works will be from 4th June to 24th June. Road closures in place from junction of Duke Street to junction of Kirklake Road. The road closure is to excavate joint bays in the carriageway to install cables as part of HV Diversion with reinstatement. The works will be carried out by SP Energy Networks with Sefton Council. The Ravenmeols Lane roadworks were completed today, Sunday 3rd June by United Utilities to fix the sewerage pipes so there will be no impact to make the situation worse. However from 11th June to 19th June, there will be multiway traffic lights on the corner of Park Road and Ravenmeols Lane for work being carried out by BT. The roadworks with multiway traffic lights on Freshfield Road from the junction of Marsh Brows should be complete by 6th June.
