The results are in for the Formby elections

It was a mixed night in Formby with a Labour gain in Ravenmeols ward with Nina Killen and a Conservative hold with Cllr Denise Dutton in Harington. In the Formby Parish Council elections it was a Conservative hold.
Well done to both Nina Killen and Denise Dutton.

Cllr Denise Dutton said: "I am absolutely delighted to have been re-elected as Harington Ward Borough Councillor for my third consecutive term. I feel truly honoured and I would like to thank everyone who voted for me. I couldn't have done it without a fantastic team behind me and especially Cllr Simon Jamieson and Cllr Michael Pitt."

Cllr Nina Killen said: "Thank you to everyone in Formby who voted for me. I'm proud to have been elected to represent Ravenmeols ward."
"Thank you to all who helped yesterday and in past 2yrs. Over 30 activists in Formby alone yesterday, 1,200 doors knocked in the past week in Ravenmeols. Incredible. We don't do it for Labour, as some say. We do it because we want to make a difference where we live. Bring it on!"
