Two Formby lads celebrating winning Liverpool Battle of the Bands
Rock 'n Roll Band The Kairos who include two members from Formby, have WON the Battle of The Bands in Liverpool Rocks! A huge well done to them!
Liverpool Rocks is an established Battle of the Bands that takes in around 40 bands from the Merseyside area and gives them the chance to compete for great prizes. The 2018 final was completely sold out on Friday 27th April at the O2 Academy.
Winning group, rock 'n roll band The Kairos is heavily inspired by Oasis and The Beatles and into rock and indie groups such as The Who, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Kasabian, The Verve and other bands.
The Kairos speaking on their Twitter account said: "The support we get off the people who come to every gig is phenomenal and its what won us the final. So a big thank you to The Kairos family, as well as a shoutout to our mates LOLA who we met along the way. Everyone get to Sound city to watch us play (day and time yet to be announced)."
