Met Office issue yellow warning of strong winds in Formby

It is 1°C at the moment in Formby. The Met Office has issued a yellow severe weather warning for strong easterly wind for tomorrow in Formby and other parts of the northwest.

Friday will be another windy and bitterly cold day. Most places will remain cloudy, with further snow showers pushing in across the east. Maximum temperature 0°C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Staying cold into the weekend with often cloudy skies and further snow showers likely at times. Winds will become lighter, but frosts will remain widespread and severe.

It's another freezing cold night out there, with further snow on the way through the night in Formby. We have bitterly cold Easterly winds of 23mph in our Bubble making temperatures feel like -7°C

We haven't had as much snow in Formby as other parts of the UK but we are expecting more tonight and tomorrow.
