Formby High Success

Formby High Year 8 boys have continued their successful season by winning the M’side Schools Cross Country League. After the final league fixture in Wirral’s Arrowe Park, the triumphant boys were not the only medalists from the Freshfield Road school - with the Year 7 boys taking second, and the Year 8/9 girls claiming a season bronze.

Formby High’s good form continued into the Sefton school league, hosted by Merchant Taylors’, Crosby, on Wednesday (Jan 24.) In the individual events, the school brought home five medals while a record number of 19 students qualified to represent Sefton in the M’side Schools Championships next month.
