The Black-E Theatre is one of Liverpool's most iconic arts buildings and seats 350 people. The great part of this panto is that the stage is in the middle with seating around all four sides which meant that you were more involved in the whole performance.

Home to a ferocious Beast who is trapped by a spell that can only be broken by true love. Who can break the spell? Will the Beast ever be released from his curse? Is our Liverpool heroine the answer?

The setting of an enchanted castle was magical for children big and small and the characters were both charming and funny from the very first line with real scouse wit. There were no parts that you were sat bored, it was great entertainment which kept the audience captivated throughout the entire performance.

This is a truly heartwarming and hilarious family show that is not over-priced and suits all ages from very small to very old.

Tori Hargreaves played the part of Beauty. Tori was born and raised in Formby trained in acting at Arts Education School London where she currently resides. She has previously enjoyed success in a number of roles most notably appearing in Bill Kenwright’s Blood Brothers. Tori is delighted to be returning to her native Formby for the festive season.

The adventure Beauty longs for comes in the form of an enchanted castle, home to The Beast (Nick Langmead), Basic Bertie (Adam McCoy) and Dame Dolly (Jamie Greer) who are trapped by a spell, cast to teach The Beast a lesson in judging others. Fairy Rose (Helen Carter) adds a touch of magic to the production as she haplessly tries to reverse the spell and save the castles inhabitants from a life trapped inside its walls.
