Formby Swimming Academy has won their second award of the year, Best Inclusive Sports Group
A Formby Swimming academy, has won an award for BEST INCLUSIVE SPORTS GROUP. Operating from Formby Hall Golf Resort and Spa, Star Swimming won the award for the 'Best Health and Fitness Business 2017', in the Liverpool lifestyle awards and now they have also won 'Best Inclusive Sports Club 2017'.
The Liverpool Fitness Professional Awards is now in it's third year. This years ceremony took place on Saturday 25th November at the prestigious Isla Gladstone. On the evening, guests were treated to a three course meal and witness some of Liverpool's best entertainment.
A spokesman for the Star Swim Academy said: "We have been running for 13 years now and as well as our learn to swim programme, we also work closely and provide swimming with different organisations like Walking with giants and Autism in Motion."
"Earlier this year, we won the award for 'Best Health and Fitness Business 2017' at the Liverpool Lifestyle awards and we are so proud of this accolade. For 12 years, we have tried very hard to establish ourselves as one of the top teaching academies for learning to swim and swimming lessons. Set up by Will Kildare in 2005, Star Swimming Academy operates learn to swim sessions in six venues across Merseyside. Offering a full programme of swimming lessons for pre-school, juniors and adults from absolute beginners to more advanced stroke development including competitive swimming and life saving courses. The academy also specialises in lessons for individuals with special needs and has provided services to schools specialising in children with disabilities/special needs, local community groups, national and international charities.
