Formby resident Grace Pierrepont Pullen has sadly died aged 101 years

Formby resident Grace Pierrepont Pullen has died on October 7th 2017 peacefully aged 101 years. Grace will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

The family wish the funeral service to be a quiet, private family affair.

Grace celebrated her 101st birthday on Wednesday 27th April 2017. Formby Bubble were lucky enough to join her for birthday celebrations and even got a sing song with Grace as she sang 'It's a long way to Tiparary'. Grace was certainly sharp in her mind. She reminisced on a very interesting life, having acted as a translater during the war and boasting five languages. Grace could even recite quotes from A.A. Milne and Shakesphere.

Grace has lived in Formby since the 1930's and loved the Formby people. Grace is a former member of the Formby Artists Society.

Grace was a lovely lady and will be sadly missed. Our deepest condolences to all her family and friends.
