Ambulance and paramedics called to Formby village this morning

Paramedics and ambulance were called to Formby Village this morning, Saturday 29th July at 8:30am.

A member of staff at Barnardo's Menswear shop on Chapel Lane had tripped and banged her head on the concrete floor. The lady was unconscious in the doorway of the shop.

Paramedics and ambulance arrived at the shop and the lady, who was in her 50's was taken to Southport hospital.

The woman was suffering from concussion and a shoulder problem but was released later in the afternoon.
