Formby Bubble were lucky enough to have a sneak preview today. The interior is a chic, state of the art Italian lounge bar with beautiful chandeliers and high class decor. It has a contemporary, elegant design with seating areas for groups of friends or for intimate dates.
Luciano Cappiello is a well known name in our Bubble. A much respected and liked businessman that eight years ago brought the now distinguished Italian restaurant Sorrento to Three Tuns Lane. Luciano is now about to bring another ‘Touch of Class’ to Formby – Riva Lounge.
Riva Lounge is on Chapel Lane in the well known spot of previous Hop & Horn which closed down last October.
Luciano isn’t just doing a bit of decorating; he is doing a complete rip-out and refurbishment of the building with top Italian designers Composite. No expense has been spared. Luciano is spending over a quarter of a million pounds on Riva Lounge to bring you a state of the art, world class Italian lounge that will really set the bar in Formby.
Offering small plates with breakfast, brunch and lunch in a classy, relaxed, Italian atmosphere that will have a dress code for it’s 2am licence.
The first floor will be refurbished into two function rooms for private hire that can also be hired as one large room. This will be available later in the year.
Inspired when he was just eight years old by a boat ride in the Riva Aquarama Lamborghini, one of the most prestigious boats in the world and never forgot his dream to own the business named after that boat ride.
Good Luck to Luciano and his family and all the team at Riva
