Formby Rotary Club Goes Cruising and Barbequing
The Rotary Club of Formby held an evening dedicated to learning more about Cruise Holidays. Club members were encouraged to enter the spirit of the evening and many members turned up in holiday garb
Marie and Garry Ratcliffe came along to talk to the Club. They represent GoCruise, who are part of the Fred Olsen Company. They offer an independent service, calling on 15 years experience in the travel business.
Garry explained how their personal, friendly, local service can provide a smooth and enjoyable booking experience, tailoring a cruise to suit all requirements and budgets. His talk was accompanied by photographs of some beautiful destinations and his audience would have been only too happy to exchange our present cold weather for something a bit warmer!
The Club welcomed some members from Southport Sunrise Rotary Club who were interested in learning more about the service Marie and Garry can provide. It was an enjoyable and interesting evening and even those experienced cruisers in the audience felt GoCruise could help them when booking their next trip. The Club recently held it's annual BBQ. It was well attended by Club Members, friends and family. It was the hottest weekend of the year and the guests made the most of the glorious weather, spending the whole time in the sun in Simon and Gulzar Matthews fabulous garden. Many thanks go to them for their hospitality. If you would like to learn more about Rotary and what it does please get in touch with us and come along to a meeting.
