Formby Pool hosted the Merseycats main stage featuring a fantastic line up of rock 'n' roll bands as well as children's rides, picnic and BBQ factilities.
The Merseycats stage presented a succession of Rock 'n' Roll performances from 13 bands. As usual, Formby Pool had a picnic area and amusements for all the family throughout the weekend.

Event organiser, Pat Wordley said: "On behalf of Woodwards and Cafe D'Art, we were thrilled with the turnout and the amazing local talent on display on the Chapel Lane 'Busk Stop' stage and in the bars."
"We would like to give a special thanks to Alex Epsley and to Eddie and Iain of band Counting Crowd, who supplied the sound engineering and performed brilliantly themselves, too! They also raised over £200 in donations from the appreciative Formby crowd."
"Also a big thankyou to Silver & Rose and Barnados for kindly providing the power - for the event and to all the amazing performers, too!"
"There was plenty of fun activities for the kids at Formby Pool and two days of Rock 'n' Roll from the Merseycat bands. All in all a wonderful weekend and to top it all we couldn't have asked for better weather!"
The event is funded by contributions from Formby Parish Council, Waitrose Community Fund and the participating bars. The organisers are always keen to make this festival the best ever and are constantly looking to invite local businesses to help with sponsorship.
