Formby Parish Council install plants and posts on the Gateway into Formby

The Parish Council, in conjunction with Ravenmeols ward councillors, have funded the installation of posts and plants along the verges on Southport Road.

This coupled with additional new trees, is designed not only to improve the look of one of the main routes into Formby, but will help protect the grass verges from being damaged by people parking vehicles on them.

The alternative to the grass verges is to have them tarmacced, this would completely change the look of the road and the area and is why we opted for the installation of posts and plants.

Formby Bubble thinks the posts and plants look beautiful and enhance the Formby Gateway.
