Over 60 youngsters enjoyed the hockey camp in Formby at Easter
A junior hockey camp held by Formby Hockey Club during the Easter holidays attracted over sixty youngsters. The weather was excellent throughout the two-day event which saw young Formby hockey players work on various skills and games including the popular water slide goal scoring practice (pictured).
The young players are part of the hockey club's ongoing Junior Hockey Development Project which is in it's fifth year. The project provides hockey coaching in six of the seven Formby primary schools throughout the year and runs junior sessions at the hockey club on three nights during the week and Sunday mornings.
