Fun Science is back with Easter Holiday clubs in Formby

Fun Science is here in the Easter holidays with awesome experiments to watch and do, things to make and items to explode! Each day is run by highly trained Fun Scientists with enhanced DBS checks and first aid training and is jam-packed with experiments, games, crafts and explosions. The club will run on 4th, 5th, 6th April from 9am-3pm at the 1st Formby Scout Hut, Foot Path, Rosemary Lane, Formby, L37 3HB.

The days are perfect for children aged 5-11.

Tuesday 4th April- Sweet Science – Today we will be learning about acids and alkalis as we experiment to discover the perfect sherbet formula, learn about states of matter and pressure with candy floss and popcorn. We’ll also look at what happens to all that sugar with the digestion game and making edible poo! Make sure to state any allergies, intolerances or dietary restrictions.

Wednesday 5th April – Brilliant Bubbleology! – Bouncing bubbles! Giant bubbles. Even fire and smoke bubbles! Can you discover the perfect bubble mix formula? Make your own square bubble and bubble snake makers

Thursday 6th April – Crazy CO2! – Old favourites like volcanoes combine with exploding sandwich bags, popping film canisters, spurting lemonade geysers and fizzy drinks making for a fizzing, popping, exploding-ly fun day!
