Sumner Road is to be closed for three days to be resurfaced next week

Sumner Road car park in Formby is to be resurfaced and the road will be closed for approximately three days whilst the work is carried out.

A spokesman from Sefton Council highways design said: "The works to resurface the Sumner Road car park in Formby are scheduled to take place starting week commencing Monday 13th March for a period of approx. 3 days (subject to weather conditions). The car park will be closed for the whole of this time and at the same time, works will be undertaken to install the kerb build out at the junction of Sumner Road with Elbow Lane."

A letter drop will be made to those most directly affected and more information will be provided when it comes available over the next few days.
