On New Year's Eve this Saturday, Merseyrail will be finishing early.
People who are getting the train on New Year's Eve will need to be aware that the last services of the day will be before 9pm. The final train from Liverpool Central to Southport will be depart at 20:38. Also, in the other direction, the final service from Southport to Liverpool will be at 20:13.
On New Years Day, trains will be running to a normal Sunday service.
