Formby under 14s doing 1 last smile for Kasabian.
Kasabian was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 2yrs. He has beaten five tumours over the subsequent 6 years. However in December, aged 8 Kasabian was sadly diagnosed with two inoperable brain tumours.
Since his diagnosis, close family friends started up the ‘Kaz’s Smile’ campaign to make Kasabian’s dreams come true and also raise vital funds for equipment and adaptations for his changing needs.
Kasabian who played for Southy Wolves U10’s based in Parsons Cross in Sheffield has been informed by doctors that there is no longer anything that can be done and to bring forward his December birthday celebrations to now.
We want to give Kasabian one last smile and ask the entire footballing community to send a picture in your strip, with a smile and 1 finger in the air.
Kasabian has a favourite player, that player is Wayne Rooney, we reach out via the power of our sport for Wayne Rooney to come and meet Kasabian to give him 1 last smile.
A crowdfunding page has been set up to support Kasabian and his family by grassroots coach Ben Harris-Shaw.
Please help Ben support Kasabian and his wonderful family through what will be the hardest time a family can imagine.
Thank you everyone for your efforts and support.
