Dr Stephen Crosby back in court again charged with sexually assaulting another female patient.
Dr Stephen Crosby (63) of Wrigley’s Close in Formby is back in court again charged with sexually assaulting another female patient.
Dr Crosby was convicted of seven indecent assault charges in 2004 and today (Monday 10th October) in Liverpool Crown Court it was alleged that he abused another woman in February 2000.
The jury was told that she did not complain at the time because of family pressures and then moved away to Yorkshire.
“On moving back to the Formby area, she heard of the convictions but more pertinently heard that in February 2014 he was convicted of outraging public decency,” claimed Ben Jones, prosecuting.
“She came forward because she was concerned he continued to present a risk of danger to women,” he said.
Mr Jones told the court that Crosby still disputes his convictions in 2004 but he claimed, “they are proper convictions by a jury and not subject to any form of appeal.
