Local Girl Writes and Illustrates a Children's Book for The Costa Foundation
This week, 20-25th September, it’s reading week in Costa Coffee Tesco in Formby.
Between 3.30pm -5.30pm children of all ages can go along and read - they have all kinds of activity books, educating children about safeguarding and environmental issues.
Free drinks too!
On Wednesday they are holding a 'Masterclass' where customers can go in from 7pm and will be taught about core coffee skills, and can even have a go at making drinks.
Local girl Holly Bushnell (pictured with the Area Manager and her book) who works in the Costa Formby Tesco has written and illustrated a children’s picture book called ‘The Coffee Journey’ - they sell for £3 and the money goes to The Costa Foundation, which helps support coffee farmers and helps educate children in the coffee-growing region.
