Three males have now been charged with Robbery at the One Stop Shop, Cross Green

Three males have now been charged with Robbery at the One Stop Shop, Cross Green, Formby on 28th June 2016. Paul Ellis aged 35, Alan Daniels aged 33 and Jamie Downes aged 30 all from Kirkby. All make their first appearances at North Cheshire Magistrates Court, Halton on 16th September 2016. This follows a joint investigation with Cheshire Police.

Officers were called to the One Stop Community store on Cross Green at 10.50pm on 28th June following reports that two males, wearing balaclavas, had entered the store and gone behind the counter where they stole a quantity of cash.

It is believed the men were armed with weapons.

The two men then got into a white VW Golf, which had tinted windows and alloy wheels and was being driven by a third man, and made off towards Duke Street car park.
