Man injured on Formby Bridge

UPDATE:

Merseyside Police were called out at 6:40pm last night, Sunday 14th August to a road traffic collision with a Hyundai car and a male pedestrian on the junction of Duke Street and Formby Bridge.

An ambulance also attended the scene and the gentleman was taken to hospital. The man sustained an injury to his wrist.

At approximately 6:50pm this evening - Sunday 14th August, a man was involved in an accident on Formby Bridge. The Police and ambulance attended the scene.

No more details are known yet and the condition of the man is not known at this stage. Please avoid the bridge if possible.
