Community Speedwatch Operation on Woodlands Road this afternoon

In response to the concerns raised by residents living in Woodlands Road, Formby, regarding speeding vehicles. Dedicated Officers from the local policing team will be undertaking a Community Speedwatch Operation in the road this afternoon.

I ask all motorists to observe the posted speed limits on our roads and to drive within these limits at all times.

A speed restriction is the maximum speed, not a Target to be achieved / exceeded.
