Merseyside Police are currently investigating four offences of Burglary reported over the last weekend.

They all appear to have occurred overnight, but in only one is it obvious that force was used to gain entry, that was in in Moss Side, Formby, where a Volkswagon Passatt car was stolen.

The other locations were Ince Crescent, Larkhill Lane and Victoria Road.

Most Burglars are opportunists, Can I urge everyone to take those extra few minutes to ensure your property is secure at night especially ground floor doors and windows.

The car taken during the Burglary was recovered on Tuesday 14th June 2016 in Liverpool and a 27 year old male Anthony Critchlow from Kirkby was arrested and has been charged with Dangerous driving.

He made his first appearance at court on Wednesday 15th June 2016 and was remanded into custody next appearing on 17th July 2016.

Enquiries are ongoing in relation to the Burglary.
