Teenager Airlifted after motorbike Accident

The teenager was flown to Liverpool's Alder Hey hospital with a suspected broken leg after coming off a scrambler bike in Formby.

The ambulance service was called to the scene at around 12.12pm yesterday (Sunday.) The accident happened in a farmer's field off Lord Sefton Way.

The Teenager thought to be 15, injured his leg after falling off the scrambler type bike in a farmer's field.

A spokesman for the ambulance service confirmed they attended the scene after receiving a report that a man had fallen off a motorbike. The spokesman said that the teenager was flown to Liverpool's Alder Hey by ambulance, where he was treated for a suspected fracture to his leg. The teenager was accompanied by his dad at the time of the accident, and had permission to ride the legally owned bike on the field.
